Design days are my favourite, I dedicate the whole day to designing 4 or 5 bridal hairpieces and letting my imagination run wild.
How did you come up with the idea for your bridal hairpieces?
I am so excited to have officially reopened the store and to share my new Beautiful Budget Bridal range. It’s been three years since I first opened my Etsy store and I have just returned from a small break after welcoming my beautiful daughter into the world. While on leave, I learned to simplify my life so that I could get everything I needed to do, done. I decided that I could use the things I had learned that made my life easier to make my customers life easier. By designing and creating bridal hairpieces that are simpler to create yet still delicate, feminine and refined, I could save my brides even more money and create a wide range of pieces. I have currently added four new designs to pioneer my new range and look forward to continuing to grow this line.
What does your work entail?
It takes a lot of planning to get my hairpieces from my mind to my store. Design days are my favourite, I dedicate the whole day to designing 4 or 5 bridal hairpieces and letting my imagination run wild. Creating days are a close second, there is something really satisfying about picking the perfect beads or seeing the piece come together. Photography days are probably my least favourite because of all the prep – hair extensions, make up etc. I love the editing process afterward though, going through all the shots and finding the perfect ones.
What is your greatest achievement so far
Every bride who messages me to say how happy she is or sends pictures is an achievement. It’s so important that your clients feel like you are invested in their day being special and when they contact me after they have received their product it tells me that I have built that bond with them and done my job.

Any advice for someone considering to start a wedding business?
The best advice I have ever been given is “babies don’t give up trying to walk because they fell down a few times”. Any business takes time, don’t give up.
