3 Easy Tricks How To Stop Lipstick Smudging on Your Teeth

If you’re wearing dark lipstick and you don’t want it to end up on your teeth you will find this article very useful. I’m going to share with you some really easy lipstick tricks on how to effectively stop lipstick smudging on your teeth.

You’ve probably heard of the “napkin trick” before. First step of this method is to put on a normal coat of lipstick the way you want it. The next thing you need to do is to take a piece of tissue or a napkin, and then put your lips on it twice in different locations. This method is quite effective; however, I’ve seen that it does not always work to get all the lipstick on your teeth out. Therefore, what you would also need is a setting spray. Take the same napkin or a piece of tissue and put it on your lips then use the setting spray or setting powder and just dab it on top of the wet tissue paper on your lips.

Another helpful trick you may try is the really easy “thumb trick”. What you should do is to simply cup your lips around your thumb. You will quickly discover that all the lipstick that would have ended up on your teeth will actually remain on the thumb. It’s pretty easy to do, but there’s a bit of mess involved. So, I’d definitely recommend having some napkins or makeup wipes handy to get those lipstick marks off your finger.

These tricks alone would prevent the lipstick on the teeth embarrassment, however there are other effective tricks you may try too. What you can also try is to use a brush lip coat that is going to seal the lipstick in place. Just line your lips and then fill in your entire lips with the lip liner that you’re going to use.  So, if you are willing to spend ten bucks on this cool product called lip coat this will surely stop lipstick smudging on your teeth without any complications in the future.

Here is the last trick on how to stop lipstick smudging on your teeth. The first step is to apply a lipstick as you would normally. Then, take your pointing fingers and then just push the lipstick from the mouth corner into the inside of your mouth so that the lipstick which is too much in the inner corners will go off. Lastly, the last step is to use your clean pointing finger and just put it into your mouth and then pull it back so the lipstick which is too much will be stuck on your pointing finger. What you will discover is that everything is on the pointing finger and now the inner rim of lips are clean so that nothing can get on your teeth.

By doing these easy smudge-proof lipstick hacks above you are guaranteed to have no color transfer onto your teeth anymore, so you can show your beautiful smile on any occasion comfortably.
