Couple in Search of Dream Wedding Offers Company Sponsorships for Ceremony

To afford their dream ceremony, one local couple is offering businesses the ability to sponsor their wedding, including product placement and speaking opportunities.

Randolph, MA – Sheina and Marcovany Prince knew they were meant to be together immediately when they met in 2009. Now, as the couple plans to spend their life together, they’re taking a unique approach to try and afford their dream day.

The couple quickly eloped in April in order to grant the wish of Sheina’s mother, diagnosed with dementia. No beautiful dress, no walk down the aisle, no father and daughter dance and no best-man’s toast.

After a quick brainstorm session, the pair came up with the idea to advertise and sponsor out their special day in order to make it a even more memorable. The couple is offering businesses sponsorship opportunities ranging from $50 to $2,000 and allowing everything from business cards in guest gift bags and advertising space at the venue to handing over the mic to CEOs during the reception.

How did you come up with the idea for a sponsored wedding?
A while ago I had heard of this couple who hoped to use corporate sponsors to fund their dream wedding. I thought the idea was great and would end in a win-win situation for both the couple and the companies. Thinking of some Marking basics I had leaned in College I decided to share my idea with my husband really on a whim. He told me that after so much time caring for others maybe people would be kind enough to help me? He began to work on our crowd funding page.

What do you offer to sponsors?
Basically we are offering our wedding as a platform for wedding vendors to really show off their services and products in exchange for sponsoring our wedding.  To place Ads in a wedding Magazine could cost a company anywhere from $500 to over $6,000. With our wedding we offer to not only raise awareness about each vendor not only to our guest but to our social sites such as Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram .  We can promote for an extended amount of time for much less than your conventional advertising route.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
So far we have received a beautiful gown donated and that was within our first week. We have our Vlog up and ready to advertise and we are near completion of our website.

Where can our readers find you online?
All readers can go to our link for our crowd funding page and take a look into our personal story. From there you can donate or even sponsor.  Companies and readers can also contact us by email at Sponsorshipoflove@gmail.com .

Any advice for someone considering to have a sponsored wedding?
My advice to anyone thinking about gaining sponsorship for a wedding would be to start early and be sure that you can offer companies a good package in return. Most importantly, don’t get discouraged if it seems hard because there are great deal of companies who really care about people and would like to help.
