Get a healthy glowing wedding skin.
Regardless of a million other hopes for the big day, one thing every bride wants is that flawless glow. We all know a natural radiance comes from within, but what exactly do we have to do to get it? If you want a healthy glowing wedding skin read on!
- Hydration for glowing wedding skin
Drink, drink, drink! Water, that is. The importance of water for the skin cannot be stressed enough. It flushes out blemish-causing toxins and keeps our skin supple by providing it with the vital hydration it needs. Eating foods known to hydrate the skin will also help, for example, watermelon, grapefruit, broccoli and lettuce.
- Skincare regime
As well as taking care of our skin from the inside, an external cleansing routine is also essential for a healthy glow. Exfoliating at least 3 times a week will rid your face of dead skin cells, revealing fresh, new skin underneath. Moisturizing twice a day will again feed the skin with essential hydration, especially when we sleep as this is when most moisture is lost from our bodies. Also take note that some skin are sensitive and can be easily damaged so you must choose the best skin care products that fit your needs to maintain your ideal skin and boost your confidence inside out.
- Take supplements
Taking extra vitamins benefit the whole body. If taken consistently, you will start to notice an improvement in overall health which will really show in your complexion. Supplements like Co-Q10 increase our metabolism and improves heart health, whilst Omega-3 promotes healthy hair and skin.
- Sleep
8 hours of uninterrupted sleep will banish eye-bags to Timbuktu. Wake up and look in the mirror- yes beauty sleep really is a thing!
- Power foods
Avoid greasy foods containing sugar and saturated fats and instead start snacking on those high in essential antioxidants. Oily fish such as salmon and nuts like pistachios have high levels of magical Omega-3. Beetroot also contains vitamins A and E, potassium and calcium which are all key ingredients in the quest for that must-have wedding day glow.
